Help with my graduation project for high school.. please
Hello, I think this is becoming a Little bit of a habit.I keep coming here for help with my school work. I guess its because I keep forgetting to ask teachers and when I need questions others ain't around and since my topic is "How to build a computer" I assumed people at speed guide would be able to help me. I always say that I would appreciate it a lot and I really do..
The problem I'm having with my graduation project is, theres a question in the proposal prewriting that asks... "List other academic areas(for example, math, science, history, health, etc.) that will be integrated into your project and describe how you will apply knowledge and skills in those areas to complete your project?"
I cant come up with a answer for this question, I'm kinda stumped... I just need to find a answer to that question for my topic "how to build a computer"
I just cant figure out how to find a academic area that would use in building a computer.

Math: The chip itself performs millions of mathematical functions, like Graphics (The Video from the software, to the CPU, the bus, to the Video Card, then the Video card transforms it to a Video signal
Science: The CPU is made with Silicon so I would go with that as being a scientific discovery that has helped develop newer and faster chips with less heat and lower power consumptions
History: I shouldn't have to explain the vast history to you about how the worlds first Computer took up almost a city block to perform some basic mathematical skills as compared to the powerhouse in something 1,000,000 smaller than the original. Im sure you already knew that.
Health: well I guess you could go with the idea that computers help with health by creating newer better drugs, prosthetic limbs thru robotics, even like SG's folding team where we use all our computers to help find cures for cancer and fold human genome.
I think you got a good idea and can work from there. Good luck

Mechanical.......You have to be able to use a screwdriver. Insert parts....Look things over for possible problems. You have to visualize and use a bit of logic as to what goes where...Sometimes the manuals aren't a lot of help.
After all this great help we've given you over the years...hopefully your the Valedictorian of your class?

No I'm actually surprised my self, I failed my pssa math and english assessment. I'm now in classes that go through each standard to make sure I know how to do each standard. I started to struggle during 11th grade year it was tough especially algebra 2. and well for the English Its self explanatory :-(Noevo wrote:shocked me he's graduating!
