Problems with my Burner
Problems with my Burner
I have a cheapo External Burner called a Mad Dogg and i can't get it to burn correctly. It will say it's burning and then burn complete but theres nothing on the disk any ideas guys????????????
Have you tried changing the ports that is connected to? (Wether its USB or Firewire) and what about the burning software? Is it up to date? Have you checked for updates? Which one are you using? Are you using Windows XP as well?krash wrote:I have a cheapo External Burner called a Mad Dogg and i can't get it to burn correctly. If its new and returnable yes I would bring it back and get an internal one. Usually more reliable.

If it used to work then it should now. I would imagine its something driver related that you missed. Possibly the USB drivers maybe. Did you also install the Service Pack 1 update and the updates after that for the USB 1.0 & 2.0?krash wrote:It use to work then i formatted when i built my new system and installed the original drivers on the same OS but it doesn't work now...............
Also if its a VIA or Intel chipset, go to their sites and download the chipset drivers. For via it would be
http://www.viaarena.com and look for the hyperion drivers
and for the intel look for the Intel chipset installation utility
