Can someone help me find a replacement z560 speaker?

Post by mikemean »

Ok, when I was moving into the new place and setting up the computer one of my logitech z560 speaker wires (the rear right one) came into contact with a live power strip . Oddly enough, the speaker wires fell perfectly into the power strip outlet. One wire per hole :irate:   So, as a result there was a god awful loud screeching sound and a very distinct burning smell and as you may have guessed, the speaker is totally fried. So, I need to find just ONE replacement speaker for my z560 set. Any ideas where to get one for real cheap?? The cheaper the better cause I ain't got no money anyway and I sure as hell ain't gonna buy a whole new z560 set just for one speaker.

I'd give Logitech an email, as they may be able to sell you a replacement speaker.

There's one guy selling a set of 4 speakers, because he broke his subwoofer. On eBay, 11 hours left, 80 dollar buy now, but no bids yet.

This is a hardware forum thread.. next time post there. LOL. No biggy Im just playing. Guess you wernt there to see any sparks flying.. Ehhh I would try to contact the company If it were me. Acctualy If it were me Id just get a genaric speaker as a replacement for now.. Wow.. I must say that e-bay auction looks kinda tempting to bid on it myself..I wonder what the reserve..... That also might be your best bet is to just get them ebay speakers.. Look at it this way if another falls into the power strip you'v got 3 extras. or are they all not the same?
