Couldn't sit through Roger and Me and never heard of The Big One. I'll make my discisions based on the direction that he is going in NOW. I don't care for that direction, I don't care for his attitude and I don't care for his shenanigans in front of the cameras.Blisster wrote:you really should see Roger and Me or The Big One before judging him.
you know i find this statement ironic...i mean do you have any secret intelligence contacts that can proove to you that war on terrorism is on the backseat?downhill wrote: The war on terrorism has taken a backseat to the administrations goals of war in Iraq. It's all about the publicity, baby!downhill wrote:Not having seen it....I'm curious as to why it's even being judged.....Could it be we are already being preprogrammed as to how we should think of it? After all.....Rove is the mastermind behind the unpatriotic thing. Seems laughable now when those who were on the receiving end of that stick, turned out to be right.

I'm sure, knowing the material of Moore, that some of it is pure bunk........but if your going so far as to label him unpatriotic on the assumption he's lying for a political end...then you'd also have to lump Coulter, Hannity, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Scarborough, Savage, and a bucket full of pundits in the same barrel, eh?
As to the CNN jab....I see them doing plain reporting and not really making him out to be a hero, even though I'd agree that in some fashion he's probably getting too much press for this on any channel. ...Fox on the other hand is making him out to be a villan....while celebrating those already listed above.![]()
I do a heck of a lot of reading.......A suggestion...What your lookiing for isn't going to be on the front page of theNY Post...So maybe doing some research is in order....At least as long as it looks like a close race. I'd be willing to bet if the polls start showing a landslide..the Post will change it's tune....After all, like your always implying...it's about money...Ghosthunter wrote:you know i find this statement ironic...i mean do you have any secret intelligence contacts that can proove to you that war on terrorism is on the backseat?
Bush has done more for the war on terrorism then any President in the history of the united states...lot more then slick willy ever has.
If this was a true documentary..no it aint wrongBlisster wrote:so making a documentary about the events of 9/11 is unpatriotic?
Does that mean it was wrong of the media to play those images non-stop for months after the event?
Ok...the Washington Times doesn't count either..Ghosthunter wrote:of coures you are talking about Clarke right..the one who is making millions now with his book..or hoping to make millions...
and you also know i dont read just the Post...

I don't know alot about MM, but I'm guessing he's never served his country so it's pretty hard for me to place much value on his opnions on the subject.

Its supposed to actually be really good...most of the critics say its by far his best movie, even if they don't agree with the position.Moore said Tarantino whispered to him on stage, telling him: "We want you to know that the politics of your film had nothing to do with this award, we are not here to give a political award, on this jury we have different politics and some of us have no politics -- you were given this award because you made a great film."

So Bush lies to start a war with people that had nothing to do with 9/11, and lies about WMD that they didn't even use in the invasion of their own country, and that are no-where to be found now that the wars's over. And when someone criticizes Bush for doing that....
They're accused of talking trash about the president in a time of war?!?!
Thats some killer logic. So I guess if Kerry wins, and he lies to start a pointless, endless war, he'll be untouchable to you, too.
No?

You're saying that you will respect any leaders' position and stand by that stance regardless of the decisions they make (even if you happen to disagree with them), simply because they had been voted into power?JBKM wrote:If Kerry wins then i will respect his position and you will not see me talking trash on him in public or on forums.....its called RESPECT...

They claimed that they already knew where the WMD was, and congress and everyone else trusted them, thinking they just weren't saying exactly where because they didn't want to compromise security.
Now we know it was all just a load of smoke. But some people just keep their faith in them regardless of what happens.
Thats a serious allegation. But proven? His denial isn't any more provable than the allegation.The_Lurker wrote:Michael Moore is nothing more than a proven serious liar.
