Post by Subsane »

My DVD-ROM won't play LOTR. It plays others just fine though. It is a LG model# DRD-8160B Any suggestions? Is there some kind of update I can use?

I Purchased the directors cut as well as the regular versions (I'm a freak). I've tried DivX, Windows media player (with paid bonus packs), ATI's software and others. There error said something like : Windows cannot read, or disk not formatted" or something like that anyway. I've tried all the LOTR disks but no go.

The disks work fine in the dvd player in the living room and as I said before; other disks play fine.

Stumped....

My best guess is that it's a security thing....

Thanks for your help guys (and gals), any reply is appreciated.
