Temp Files

Post by mmione »

Should I manually delete all the files in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp ? Kinda off topic but I didn't know where to go..

I use the below temp cleaner, it can be set to remove files older than x days ie 7. at startup or manually and which temp folders to scan. Easier than manually I think.

It's OK to delete these temp file IF there is no oopened application that is using the folder. If there's an app using the folder, you'll get an alert about it.

I delete mine every other day or so, as well as root\windows\temp
