You said that intentionally, Evil, but I saw another post a few seconds ago and you had marry(sp?) and the word dollars spelt like "dollers". Drugs fvck up people dude..I got the sheet beaten out of me because I didn't smoke pot with some kids who I thought were my friends (so now I have no friends) You should quit. I knew a kid who blasted himself in the face because he couldn't break his addiction. He was 15...and when I say blasted, I mean shot himself in the face and died. RIP.

hey exeison, I can totaly relate to your last post. On the other hand I never finished school, I got involved with gangs and I didnt care about anything but dope. I dont do drugs and i am against them, but it is the individual's choice. if we didnt have drugs life would get boring, we need some ppl to just flip out and do something to wake us up or just be weird.

Remember when you were a kid and you would not try certain foods because you assumed that they were bad. One day you woke up and tried them, now you can't keep them out of your mouth. So now you weigh 350#, but your happy and life is good!

I remember my parents saying "If you don't try it, how are you going to know if you like or not".

Before you start bashing someone's lifestyle, take a look at your own.

over the past summer, i used to poke smot like 3 to 4 times a day, so i'd basically be stoned the whole day, every day for like 2 and a half months, then one day it just got to me. i felt so out of it (prolly cause i was still high when i was thinking... lol) but anyway, i just felt like i wasnt doing anything productive with my time, just going to mcdonalds and white castle to cure the munchies.. so i decided to quit. i havent seen, touched, or smoked the stuff since july 22, 2000. and i plan to keep it that way. i smoke cigarettes though, that is a habit i cant seem to drop. but weed isn't addicting at all, imo. i could and DID stop anytime i wanted to. i just did it half the time cause my friends were doin it so i figured what the hell, i might as well join in on the smokage festivites.

sorry for rambling on.. just felt like contributing to this post a lil'.

I am not saying i will never do it cause i dont know but it isnt anything that is going to drop you dead there on the spot. Hell if there were ***** involved i would definetly do it. I must admit it is funny as hell to mess with people when they are high cause alot of my friends do it i dont care it is all cool to me. I lay in bed and think of how my lige is going to turn out and there is some stuff that would be pretty fun to do. I know i am rambling but Smoking pot isnt bad you just need to know when enough is enough, but there is always alcohol. So can i get a Hands up for Alcohol you have always been there in times of need and in time of parties u have helped ugly peole get laid and u help me forget about all my problems.

LOL! I had that philosoophy 35 years ago too! I thought that one couldn't possibly know if drugs were good or bad unless one tried them. The people who warned me had never done them. How did thet know? Well, they observed people who were on drugs and then looked at those peoples' personal stats. Their lives worsened in some degree as a result of taking drugs, myself included. So, one need not experience something to know the effects of something.

BTW: I read in a paper today that Canada will grow something like 2000 tons of weed (to be used in a medical way). AND they ordered research on how THC could be used as treatment for more medical conditions!

I think I tried every single drug that is available! ( not bragging just saying ) Every single one of them had an effect on my brain and adversly affected my thought patterns in different ways. Speed made me a fricking lunatic, herion made me a criminal, weed made me THINK what I was doing and helped guide my evaluation of my future. I smoke weed and I get all philisofical and try and disect and evaluate every thing that comes forth. Most of the time I can find my faults and look at ANY situation from both views.

Everyone is different and I would never tell anyone to do drugs or encourage it. The only reason that I started this thread is because I know there are people that visit this site that share the same recreational activities as I do.

exeison, I hope I didnt offend you and I know how you feel about drugs I have been there myself. Never say never!!! EVER!! I use to say I'll never do herion,, blah... Never think your above anything because you'll end up being humbled

I did pot, but said I'd never smoke hash!

I did the original orange sunshine made by Owlsley Stanley. I said I'd never do lsd!

I took crossroads & said I'd never do meth!

I did yellow jackets & said I'd never do ludes!

I snorted a ton of different stuff & swore I'd never let a needle near me!

Began criminality period of life as a result of the mexican mud & china white, but swore I'd never get hooked!

Have done no drugs since 1984 except for percodans from dentist & from plastic surgeon after a bout between the tips of 2 of my fingers & a table saw a few years ago! (the saw won that one)

Never say never!

There is only one way to guarantee that one will never do illegal drugs and that is to never do illegal drugs!

One need not experiment with them to realize the negative effects of them. A dillitante approach to anything never results in any real understanding!

Time to lecture a little:

I hesitated originally to reply to this thread to begin with cause I don't like to see drugs promoted in any fashion, esp in a place such as this, that reaches so many people so quickly. But alas, I can no longer hold back my thoughts.

I can speak from experience that the use of drugs will eventually contribute to the downfall of an individual. Even though there are people who can "recreationally get high", I believe that their justifications for doing so are the result of clouded thinking, a side effect of drug use. All drugs alter perception to a greater or lesser degree. All drugs, after being induced, leave trace amounts in the body and are stored in fatty tissues. This has been verified by autopsies of people who have taken drugs many years before they were cut up by the medical examiners! Anyway, these toxins can be released into the system during times of stress, strong physical excertion and when physically ill, causing inexplainable feelings, emotions, attitudes, sensations & even pains.

Ever have a flashback? That's why. Ever see someone you know did drugs and is acting goofy & "temporarily nutso"? That's why!

What handles these toxic effects is medically supervised detoxification accompanied by sauna, excercize & vitamins/nutrition.

Some will read this & feel attacked cause they still do drugs & can "control it". LOL! Some will read this & agree. Some will read this & disagree. So what.

I can also state by experience that one will NEVER quit drugs unless they really want to do so. There's that word again! All the lecturing in the world won't make a difference unless the person has a fundamental agreement that taking drugs to begin with was a "mistake" he made and has continued to "forget".

So, to all of you who still get high, enjoy it while you can! But I assure you that the feelings you don't want to experience and that you mask by using drugs will someday no longer obey the drugs.

And to those of you who have NEVER taken drugs, you have reasons why you haven't. Keep that reasoning!

NO! I will encourage them not to do "DRUGS". I have "Advised" them of the outcome of drugs and life(and many,many other things like Sex,Drugs and Rock-and-Roll and War!).

The delema is that they will do what they want, reguardless of what I tell them...they are human.

I was speaking for myself. I was born and raised in the 60's and 70's and that is all I need to say about that!

I feel that I should be able to voice my opinion about how it was then, and is now. Some people are over their addictions and are leading normal(what ever that is?) Life. We all have faults in our past and continue to better ourselves. Reguardless of what your opinion is, we will continue to be what we are.......HUMAN!

It's real easy to criticize someone without knowing anything about them. This a sign of ignorance!

BTW, I drink beer,have sex,lie to the IRS and have killed a few people....should I teach my kids that too?
