Iranians are currently testing a 20-centrifuge cascade of machines and actually enriching uranium in a 10-centrifuge cascade.

Thousands of centrifuges must be in operation to produce enough enriched uranium for nuclear weaponry

but it appears they have started and who knows if they have more in other locations or are buying more from n korea

I'm willing to bet, should we discover an undisclosed about of weapons grade nuclear material, should some how pop up in Iran. That it gets bombed hard from some navy ship in the area.

Ahh yes, and by this same logic it is justified to shoot your neighbor because he just purchased a new firearm (or in this case, the bullets for one?).

This only turns the enemy into the defender and deepens their resolve and hatred of the attacker.

A perfect analogy would be to attack a suspicious looking character on the street because they may cause you harm in some way. Does this place you in the right because you were [supposedly] preventing something from happening?

Bombing them without cause will surely arouse everyone over there. If the US is going to say no nuclear energy to arab nations based on their religion there is gonna be big problems. 20 Centrifuges is not nearly enough evidence of intentions to make weapons grade uranium if it takes thousands. If in all this time they only have 20 centrifuges and they are making all this hubub about 20 lousey centrifuges thats bullcrap man.
Meanwhile the man who did commit (supposedly) 9-11 is still walking around free. You people who sit there and say that all those innocent people should be killed from possible fallout from the reactor simply because The Bush administration THINKS they are up to something really need to take a chill pill or haven't you learned the lesson from Iraq yet? 33000 innocent people died there and I guess its not enough killing and STILL the man who did it is free as a bird.

Would your rather have a glow in the dark sunrise or sunset? 911 part duex, is not an event I wish to see. I'm up for some preventive maintenance, It won't be very big. Simply damaging the nuclear plant would send a big message. It would not hurt the Masses of hte innocent Iranian population.

And since they say they have no real threating amounts of uranium in the 1st place where's the harm? The laws and principles to not apply to folks with a plan or agenda to annihilate us. It's not in our interest to let them Nuke us.

As for your post being condescending,

This is a free country and everyone is entitled to speak their opinion. Kyle spoke his, you spoke yours. I think you actually controlled yourself quite well. I think perhaps it was bothering you so much that you had to get out of bed to post. But a highly opinionated 18 year old is probably sleeping like a baby without a care in the world. Able to do that because of those who watch over and protect him. And admit it, Far-N-Wide, you wouldn't have it any other way, or you wouldn't serve your country.

A problem with 18 year olds is they think they know everything, yet they do not have a clue how the world is in reality. If they knew the truth they'd curl up in little fetal balls.

I was totally serious when I said I'd be the first one in line to go there if I wasn't too old.

All the so called peace lovers or peace advocates or whatever they prefer to be called, they'd be dead long ago if not for the thankless sacrifices of many of our country's men and women.

I bet most of those 'peace advocates' wouldn't even have a clue as to what it means to be "a star on the wall"; nor where they might be if not for those who gave their lives and whose only public acknowledgement for their sacrifice is a star on the wall. And the families they left behind. (those who had families)

I couldn't agree more that Iran needs to be dealt with, they have stated their intentions and only a fool or a child would not see the need to defend ourselves before our country glows under the illumination of radioactice fallout, or millions lay dead from a biological weapon. We can't guard every inch of every water supply, as only one example.
Look at how much crap we have to go through now just to get on an airplane. Because of terrorists. And who pays the bills for these security measures? We do.
Terrorists need money to finance their activities. Because it is impossible to catch every terrorist cell operating on our soil, eliminating their sources of revenue is also a good measure. We know Iran. 18 year olds have no idea that Americans were ever held hostage in Iran.
If it comes down to a choice between losing 50 million innocent civilian American lives and the destruction of our country, or losing 1 million innocent civilian foreign lives, what would you choose? It's a no-brainer.
Hard decisions have to be made by our country's leader's, and no matter what decisions our leaders make, they always will be criticised from either the right or the left wing for those decisions. It's a fact of life. They are privy to classified information that the public does not, and will never have, access to.
