First date...?

Post by Kyle »

Alright, so yeah I'm almost 17 and never been on a date (wanna make something of it?!?)... Anyway asking a girl that I've known for about 2months now... we met in Everquest and we talk alot and don't live very far away (about 3hours), we've talked about getting together but haven't really pursued it yet. I'm pretty sure she'll say yes, but anyway any specific do's or don't's I should know about? Dinner and a movie sound good? Any good date movies out right now?

TYIA :D ,

I don't know. I didn't think people who met on everquest actually could meet. One would have thought the first part was mutually exclusive with the latter. Watch out for that big burny ball in the sky if you go out during the day :)

Hey Kyler,

Just be genuine, give her your undivided attention, and use you basic manners! it will all work out! Good luck! Oh, and don't forget to give her a nice compliment.....nothing corny like a typical one-liner, but if you notice something you like, tell her! ...stace

Be yourself, be confident, and if all else fails club her over the head and drag her back to your apartment.

First date you wanna keep it light, no romantic movies...think comedies.

Your f00k'in set because you already have something in common (EQ)..use that!!

It doesn't hurt to get a drink or 3 in her to help loosen her up a bit. Get one in yourself as well to calm any nerves. G'luck.

Like Brent said… make her laugh. Be attentive and remember to listen to what she says. Give her your attention (look at her) when she talks and don’t dominate the conversation. Girls like it when someone pays attention to them and is sincere about that attention. After the first date… you’ll have a better idea about our advice (it sucks or wow) and then you can make your own decisions.

Good luck and have fun!!!!
People will forget what you said... and people will forget what you did... but people will never forget how you made them feel.
