Some how someone got my email password while I logged into Hotmail. I have been using Hotmail since its advent before Microsoft bought it and never had any problem with it all these years. Yesterday and today, someone used my account to send an email to my wife and others in my list with a Viagra link. I was shocked when she told me.

Day before yesterday, I downloaded Spybot form the following website.

Is this a genuine web site? I got the above website from this site

I wonder it has any key logger otherwise how could someone get password?

Is there any other trick?

Anybody here has any experience like this with Hotmail?

Is this a Hotmail problem or my PC? I am scratching my head.

My Suggestion
- Use Good AntiVirus+Firewall or an Internet Security will be better choice
- Use Malware Scanner like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Weekly Manual Scan
- Periodically Change Email Password (BiMonthly maybe)
- Dont use Email Password at other Forum or any Places.

Hotmail is the most hacked email, just change your password and you should be fine.
