Dell Dimension 2350 and 2GB of Memory?

Time to upgrade the memory. It currently has 768MB.

I have read that the Intel 845GL chip set can accommodate 2GB of memory. Some people have done this. But I have no clue on what brand they bought besides DDR SDRAM PC3200 400Mhz and 1GB sticks.

ok, i try to download from online but then it tells me application not found.

I go into the rundll32 in my c:\windows\system32\DLLCACHE and put in a new rundll32 then copy it to system32 but then it automatically switches out to the original infected version.

Does your Device Manager show any COM ports at all? If so, what descriptions are in each one, properties, I/O's, etc.

Base I/O addy for thi device is 2F8h IRQ3.
I set it in the bios as user configurable(enabled) and set it to the mentioned. under the properties in the device manager.

still no luck.

going to try and set it as COM2.

Does the laptop have any standard serial ports free, such as COM1 or COM2? Most internal modems will acquire COM3, which is pretty much just a virtual COM port for the modem.

What OS?

From my experience, some of the older engine diag software which works on COM ports have a hard time under Win2K ...

i tried the ipconfig /flushdns and it didn't work, also tried the HOST file thing, no work either...also tried the MOZILLA 1.4...the z31.com site is still the same, and boston-motorsports.com still doesn't come up for me.
