My computer has an IP for local connection and then an IP for broadband connection, what do these IPs mean? Is the broadband connection IP the same as the external network IP?
My computer is now directly connected to the Portable Router, if I want others to access my computer how to do it?

I recently purchased an LCD and it doesn't have wifi capability right now, but I see the board has an Ethernet port, so can I use Ethernet to do things that need to be done with wifi?

If the above specs are what you have in your Laptop then yes, to answer your question. If you're hell bent on keeping it, I'd recommend 4 more GB of ram, at least. And clean out all the software you don't use.
