Glad to hear you figured it out! Cloud backups seem to be an often overlooked bandwidth guzzlers I suppose. You can always tweak it by reducing the amount of data being backed, and limiting it's bandwidth too.

QoS packet scheduler only applies to some apps/transfers.. Third-party antivirus and firewall software is definitely a suspect, some of them affect load even when turned off.

Just relatives turn off the Wi-Fi at night, and I wonder how much this saves? i also thought - i have two routers at home at all if i turn off for the night how much is saved?
