1GB memory on Epox EP-8K9Ai
Hello! Boy it's been a while since I've posted here.
I want to get myself a little 1GB DDR stick (if I can afford one) but am now worrying about compatiblity with my Epox board.
The memory would probably be DDR400. Now my board's booklet tells me it can accepts up to 1GB memory modules but then as ...

Hello. The funniest thing happened.
I posted this Q on another forum and my message magically disappeared from their boards :p
Anyways. So I've coded a simple webpage using CSS for layout and everything. It looks spiffy in Mozilla but IE gives me a blank page.

My CDRom drive just died on me....can it do that?
It's not very old, maybe 2 years..
I used it the one moment, minutes later it's dead. When I reboot my system freezes at IDE detection. And now nothing happens when I give the drive power... no led, no noise. nothing.

I also have a Gigabyte ATI Radeon 9200 64MB on the list for a bit cheaper than the Geforce. But I'm going to use the card in Linux.... I'm not really sure if I'll have luck with Radeon. I need to be sure first.
Is the Geforce faster than the Radeon?
Oh and will I be better of non-OEM cards ...

Since IE doesn't have the event object passed as a parameter for the function.

Thanks all for your replies.
I still prefer coding by hand, it a personal preference.
The same reason why I basically dislike wysiwyg.
I guess what SRF01 said, if it's gonna get me a job, I wouldn't say no. At least something like Dreamweaver and maaaybe Frontpage

Running Java apps without the DOS box
How can one run a Java apps in windows without the DOS box. This is usually because the program gets called from a batch file.
I'm not very active in windows. So I'll have to see if I can figure something out myself.
Thanks thought.

HTML wysiwyg or straight code?
Hi everyone, :)
So I got this call from a prospective employer the other day. And he was talking about my CV and asked me about my web design experience.
So I tell him I code HTML straight by hand, and then he commented "Oh, you use the slow way"
Now I don't know why he made that comment. Is ...

But I'm leaning towards ASE.
I cannot get connected to gamespy from within NWN.
ASE shows me my local servers, really neat.
