After setting TCP Window to 128480, do a tracert to http://www.yahoo.com and post.

The earlier tracerts do show some interference over the wireless transmission (hop 1) but may be due to the very high TCP Window then.

cant test now on buddy pc but i tried 128480 on mine, i have 7500/800 cable internet. Seems a bit better but I have lost more than 50% of my upload speed ( < 300 kbps) ....... :cry:

mtu is 1500, mss is 1460, i tried low and high number with no sucess, best speed is with tcpwindowsize = 64240

will post tcp analyser next visit to my buddy soon and you will see by yourself, maybe today

cant post tcp analyser now because i am not in buddy home.

What do you want to check ? may be i remember, i did many analyser but forget to post them, look ok for me.

if i tracert videotron isp, got 6-7 steps with less then 12 ms but speed is only 4 to 5 out of 7.5 Mbps

it doesn't much matter that Tcp1323Opts = 0 or 1, something overwrite the tcpwindowsize to 65536 even i setted it to another value before reboot :mad: :confused:

i am testing rwin to increase internet speed but got a strange problem.

I tried some numbers lower than 65535, set same value for GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize and TcpWindowSize in Cablenut, with tcp1323Opts = 0 and other higher than 65535 with tcp1323Opts = 1

Can anyone tell me why these f*** number ...

I uninstalled VMware and got same results and got the same result too with the router mtu set to 1500

tech support of my cable ISP suggest me to use a mtu of 1496. TcpOptimizer confirm the 1496 mtu. I set the mtu in windows xp (with Cablenut) and for my router (yes i did save...) to 1496 and still got these result

Cause for slower upload speed may either be the presence of spyware or problem with the cable modem.

Scan for spyware and check modem log on power levels and SNR.

My pc is spyware clean.

My cable modem is supposed to be ok according to search I made.

With 513920 last night, my dowload speed increase up to 6400 but my upload speed decrease to 3xx to 5xx kbps

This morning, it is ok with 128480, still not 90% of 7000.... Think i experienced cable slowdown at peaktime. Will test again

Anybody can comments my Argonne NDT server test !??

Tcp/ip analyser dont show it but I already use 128480. TcpOptimizer suggest 513920, i will try it and see.

There is no "bug" in the TCP Analyzer. It simply reads and reports the one and only TCP Window value in packets on the internet. You can verify this with packet sniffers, or look up the TCP and IP protocol headers... There are no other TCP Window values in the packets fot the Analyzer to read, so ...

I used the optimizer to set at 63888 with custom setting (dsl PPPoE, i use raspppoe). It was already showing this 63888 number in "current settting", i proceeded anyway..... No changes in analyser result.

Tcp/ip analyser is bugged. Dslreports tweak test too....

I see 63888 in my cablenut adjuster for TcpWindowSize and GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize. I used it since a long time and boot every day. TcpOptimizer wont changes anything, the analyser is bugged. Do you want me to try anyway ???

Many members in my french tweak forum used the analyser and had the same ...

I think your OS is XP (Win NT 5.1), please give info about dwn/up caps and we can give you complete settings.

Vtcp386 patch is not for XP but for W95/98, the test may be confused because of 65535 rwin...
