thanks for this...but it doesn´t help me...i change the bios in a lot of ways but nothing help me....it keep asking me for the hdd password

thanks men....i´ll figure out...and if i can´t thanks however...the laptop is mine and it dosen´t work...so if i trash it trying fixining...i don´t care

i have the same exact problem that you did....my inspiron 3800 didn´t allow the replacement disk......it shows me a white screen asking me the HDD password....i try a lot of thing...updating the bios...i have resseted the bios...but didn´t clear the HDD password....i have a pdf file and it tells me ...
