That's what I also have in mind.

I am wondering though how the IP address will be assigned to each device based on the VLAN that they should belong.

VLAN Trunk on two tomato shibby routers

I have 2 routers with tomato shibby firmware: Asus WL520GU and Linksys E900.

Here's what I want to achieve.

Building 1 has the modem.
Provide wired and wireless network for Private network (VLAN1) and Guest network (VLAN2)

Building 2 is connected to building 1 via a Cat5e cable from building 1 ...

Hmmmnn.. let me try a different RAM then... I'll report back after I manage to find a spare RAM (or buy a new stick)..

I've seen bad/fault/or incompatible RAM cause issues with working with large files. Is the memory you have certified compatible with your motherboard?

I believe so. But I think I should check on that.
However, shouldn't it also affect Linux (actual install) and any virtual machines installed on ...

Corrupted Downloads above 10mb size.

Hi,

I had this problem on my desktop.. Currently running Windows XP Pro SP2.

When I download something above 10mb, it gets corrupted (anything less than 10mb is fine). I tried downloading 10mb+ files on a different computer on the same network and there were no problems. So I suspected a busted ...

Thanks... got the idea. But I think I'm going to postpone this.. Planning to purchase a new router coz I plan to add at least 2 more PC.

I'm fairly satisfied with the speed :) , but I do believe there are still something to do with it cause when I do speed tests, it goes up and down by a difference of 100 kbps and ends up with a result of around 500kbps...
