There is random music coming out of my friend's dads laptop. And i am over emphasizing when i say random. I get these funny commercials about STD's and some about resizing penises. Furthermore, in IE latest version i get the Google redirecting bug. i know how to get rid of this, but does AnYoNe know ...

wasn't the video drivers i shall try to start up my pc with the on board video and see if there is any difference. I have never been so stumped before, i don't want to reinstall windows!!!..

my video drivers?? that sounds odd, but anyway everythgin seems to be in a+ condition referring to the settings but i am still missing somethign considering that when i try to do remote connecting just on the local network to the main computer its gives me that same error. all other computers i can ...

i have set up the modem to brige in the setup and set up my router to PPPoE and now my internet is working again but im still having the same problem with the same error. and now i cannot access the modem setup through my browser.

Have you reconfigured it to run as a pure modem, in bridged mode?

How do i come about in doing this? i will make sure that my router is doing PPPoE and getting the public IP adress in the mean time.
