well maybe i am mistaking....but i remember i switched from microsoft network login(something like that) to windows login, and that network login prompt went away and i booted right into windows without ever typing in a username /password, it would just bring me straight to windows...yeah i maybe ...

try upping the core voltage of your CPU in your bios...i remember the same thing happened to me a while back with my 1.2GHz CPU, it wouldn't run at deault speeds stable, like when i play halflife it ...

try updating the voltage in the bios for more stability; you can try flashing your bios with a new updated one

if i get pc150 ram, can i.....

overclock it to 150MHz? like right now i have my 1.4gigger at 1.6GHz and i didnt up my ram (ram is at 133Mhz)...and if i got pc150 ram modules would i be able to overclock it even higher?

like right now im using the 12x multiplier, so its 12x133=1600 (rounded off) and if i get pc150 ram would i be ...

thats nothing, i have to deal with an 8000rpm delta fan and a 7000rpm delta fan in the same case, the 8000rpm fan for CPU, and the 7000rpm fan for my video card :)

yeah ...one of the speaker wires were ripped, so thats why the speakers were not working, then he replaced the speaker, and found out that it was the video card and it wasn't seated properly into the slot, again thanks for your help :)

kg-7 raid problem- no display and no beep

my friend just bought a kg-7 raid motherboard...turns on, no peripheral connection, no beep code, no video....he bought a 256MB ddr ram stick and he switched the ram module in different slots....he also took out all perpheral cards and only connected the video card, but there is still no display ...

why get a 200FSB one when you can get a 266FSB CPU for cheaper, plus a 266FSB is faster than a 200FSB here is the same site but the 266FSB version:

also a good motherboard is the abit kt7a kt133a chipset ,it has alot of overclocking potential, this is the motherboard i have...i allready overclocked my newly amd 1.4GHz to 1.6GHz @29 degrees celsius idle and 38 degrees full load, yeah as BoBo Daddy suggestion don't forget your arctic silver II ...

im planning to buy 2 powerful fans that fit in my case without any mods, just by leaving the case exactly how it is...what size fans usually fit in the case? any links or referrals of a case fan? 1 is going to take the hot air out, the other is going to take fresh air in...thanks in advance

open up the pc, by taking off the pc case, and check if you see a rectangular Cartridge in your pc you may also see a fan mounted on it, well then thats a slot....

if you see a square figure with a fan on top of it, then its a socket

for SDRAM i would get the abit-kt7a kt133a chipset - thats the one i got, and its pretty good for overclocking, i havent had an problems with it yet :) or get the kt7e mobo
