1. According to my tests, download speed is bad for MTU = 1460 .. and better for MTU = 1492
2. I could not determine my mtu value from my internet server...
3- Following cablenut parameters are applied by me...

DefaultReceiveWindow = 921600
DefaultSendWindow = 128000 ...

Is there any need to make my modem interface as “mtu=1460” ?

My ISP has a connection max.8000/1000 kbps.However my download speed is between 2000-5000 kbps.Although my distence to santral is 300 mt., i couldn't see 8000 kbps anymore.Windows SP3

Our internet in Turkey which provides...
both PPPOA(MTU=1500) and PPPOE (MTU=1492) also.
I am applying PPPOA (MTU=1500) just now. What do you recommend me to use?

Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which equals MSS.

Default TCP Receive Window (RWIN) = 128000
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 1 bits ...
