Haven't seen the WiFlyer in years......that was a dial up wireless router.

Cellular options? There are routers that have WAN connections which use EvDO cards. Or just use a laptop with one..and share it via wireless to other PCs in your house.

Right now she is using AT&T Wirless connect card ...

Some laptops still have a dialup moedm in them... Otherwise you can use an external/USB modem and hook it to either the laptop or the WAN port of a WiFi router...

Another option is satellite (HughesNet ?), or long distance wireless.

Took out the HD from her lap top and the HD was a little big to just slip in. I did not want to completely take my lap top apart, so I just opened up my desk top and disconnected my secondary HD and rebooted in safe mode. Hard to say if the drive went tits up or not....I'll wager more than likely the motherboard got doused and shorted out. If you can take the drive and slave it to another computer, if the drive is still functional, you should be able to browse it and copy the stuff you want to get.
