Lesnar is gonna be a force in the UFC, he took Mir down at will & seems to have good striking power, he made one mistake and was punished for it, however I was very impressed with him can't wait to see him fight again

Hes just so powerful, a submission fighter seems like it will be his achilles ...

Well I've got a spare desktop lying around and a laptop that cant play any decent games, (I've not got a spare monitor) So I wanted to have the Desktop so its easily rigged into the laptop so it can play games...for a family member..

although RD would do the task, I think he's wanting to control the desktop only through the laptops LCD.. I believe he's looking for a "hardware" way to do it..such as cables from one to the other. In that case no as the laptop's VGA port and sVideo's are only set for out with the Function F8 press ...

Desktop - Laptop?

Another technical question :thumb:

Is it possible to connect a desktop PC to a laptops monitor, & run things through the desktop....

I know its sounds daft, but could I run a CD into the desktop....but use the laptops monitor to view what the desktop is doing...

It seems to be ok after a few mins once the computers turned on, so if it ever doesnt go at full speed after the computers running for a few mins, then I look into replacing it or whatever needs to be done :)

I should have taken a picture of all the dust that came out of it, could have made a dust ...

Well I cleaned the crap out of it with canned air like Yardy said and a old toothbrush for the fins behind the CPU fan (which was practically 90% dust) :eek:

It does, should I do anything special with the thing beside the CPU Fan, as it looks pretty important and its the dustiest piece there

Still easy to do, uninstall drivers, shut down the pc, unscrew and remove the card, put new one in, as mark mentioned hold it on the edges and you just push it in. Power up and install the proper drivers.

The putting it in sounds ok, its the uninstalling/installing of drivers where I'd be lost ...

OMG, that is really bad :eek:

first of all, it looks like in the front of the case there is a filter, you need to clean that regularly as it will help keep a lot of the dust out of the case, i clean my filters every 2 or 3 weeks.

how i clean my cases is, unplug them from the wall, take them out ...

CD rom is easy to replace, unplug power, unplug IDE data cable, unscrew and remove, plug data and power into new drive, slide in and screw it in, tada!

I did say "dusty as a motherf**ker" :D

You dont need to solder at all these days its all pop in snap down, or in the case of fans unscrew and rescrew. PC fan shoulnt be more than 8 bucks USD, can usually ge them for 2.99 or so.

Pop the case open and clean the fans with canned air, they may be stuck. If that doesnt fix the error look ...

How difficult really would it be to install a component into a computer with someone with little electrical knowledge, Is it a solder iron type of job for most things? Or would a flat head screwdriver do the job etc...

Get a PS3, its well good...depending on what type of games your into heres a few I have that I'd recommend

Resistance Fall of Man - Cracking 1st PS game with a good online mode IMO
Motorstorm - Very Nice Racing game which has a good online mode IMO
Assassin's Creed - Nice Stealth like sort of game ...

Mir is a nobody now, depending on how Brock has done at submission training I could see him ending it in the first minute easy. I want to see Lesnar get a real test.

The Hughes/GSP fight was damn good too.

UFC 80 looks good too, odd title shot for Joe stevenson, The Gonzada fight should be good ...

I recommend getting Ringtone Creator software, its very cheap should barly cost $5 or $6 or download it :D

With it you can make you own ringtones & take your favourate part of a certain song you like rather that being given no choice when you download

As to him fighting again, he lacks the motivation it take to get into shape.

If he got himself into really good shape like he was when he was younger he could still take on boxings best I think, even though hes getting on a bit...with every day that passes though hes losing the stamina that came ...
