Embarq sent this router to me. does anyone elsse have this router what do you think about it.the only thing I would change is to put a changable antenna on it.

Are you computers using a manual ip ? If not check the router settings and make sure you have enough dhcp addresses in the pool to hand out to all the devices.


my vista can ping other pc on my network and they can ping it,but it cant ping itself? get timed out then general failure? does dhcp ...

winxp can ping vista and can ping itself!
Vista can ping WinXP but cannot ping itself?

Why cant the vista pc ping it self?

Don't remove the bios battery from this laptop as it will lock the hard drive and set a bios password.I did it thinking I would erase the bios password. No such luck will try fujitsu monday and see if they have a bypass password and more importantly give it to me! can't boot from cd problem huh ...
