difference between mine and the one ur showing is that its not

" corsair system select" You see the tag on the stick where its white with a yellow oval and it says " select"

Not sure if that makes a difference in quality or its newer?

im using an emachines t1842 desktop cpu 1.8 ghz..

ps:this 256 card i got was from my brothers emachine that was a higher version up then mine.. so since he doesnt really use the cpu that much i gave him my 128 and i got his 256...

the stick that im using is a 256 mb 184 pinn pc2700 333mhz samgsung ...

Is this a good ram to get for that price.. or should i settle with newegg.com prices? and lower brands like patriot or gskill?

Is corsair worth it?

Is a heat spreader useful? I heard those take up space and youd have to take it off if you add another ram to another slot next to it

yea thats where i went to check for compatibility crucial.com.. so i notice pc2700 is the right one for it. Thats another reason why i took your suggestions because i did not see any 3200's there but that one costs 113 dollars and i can get the same specs on the websites listed above that also come ...

yea but sometimes they dont have the pc listed but that doesnt mean it isnt compatible with it.. but if you think all pc3200 isnt compatible i'll stick to
pc2700 but should i get a heat spreader with it? The options yard sent me on those websites seem pretty good ram sticks for me and they also ...

also the connection speed on general settings on the tcp optimizer.. what do i set that to.. 1024? since i saw the speed of kbs on the testmy tester?

yea my speeds are running at spec.. the thing is i guess my screen resolution lags a bit when things load but i guess thats the rams fault since i have 256.. im going to get more but i was just makin sure it wouldnt effect the website loading. I guess by my naked eye it seemd to lag a split second ...

64240 is for 6 megs or lower isnt it? I had it like that before but i upgraded megs and went to 8.


but i tested my connection and its at 8 megs with 1000 kbs download speed

i havent tweaked it yet because the rwin is still at 75920 more than what you suggested so im not sure what to do since ...

I had tweaked it but everytime i go to a tweak test on dslreports it says its in range.. but i changed my win resolution so i guess it loads up a tad bit slow.. it was at 1152x864 and now its at 1280x1024.
