mmm, something wrong there, sounds like a the cpu is set too high, if you set it in the bios and you cant get back in there by reseting the bios, it most likely is the cpu, i dont know why or how coincidently your video card would expire at the same time you overclock the cpu seems a little weird ...

if you have anymore than 1 or 2 bad sectors on your hard drive its time to look for another by the sound of it you didnt let the surface scan finish the first time thats why more bad sectors showed up the second time, there is no fix for this, once your drive has bad sectors on it, it will slow down ...

try hooking up a mouse to the serial port your ps/2 may be fried or unconnected from the board either way a serial mouse should work for you :rolleyes:

look if you have bad sectors on a drive it is the begginning of the end, if you have important information on that drive you are taking a chance, is it worth it to you if it is not important to you then fix the sectors and keep going, whats there to discuss its pretty simple :eek: :D :confused:
