and i think ive worked out why...
i used visual route too trace many different sites and i found out that like on at least 20 hops to a place i have 10 or 20 or 30 or 40 % packet loss on each hop.. which is ...

noh man.. i didnt that on purpose Xbit said i would be better for longer distance downloads...

on irc im gettin like 150k/s from xdcc's.. but like other places.. other websites .. all like 30k/s,40k/s or even 7k/s haha
