If you hadn't figured it out I was thinking since it sounds like the PSU initially went bad that the replacement PSU either might have been bad/weak itself or just didn't get plugged ...

Nice, I've always been a big fan of Dire Straits, such epic guitar tone. He did an album with Chet Atkins called Neck & Neck that always makes me smile when I give it a listen.

Yeah adaware was the 'go to' malware cleaner back in the day but has become irrelevant in today's battle against malware.
