Never Visited???
How come it says I never visited before?
I logged into the new forum and it says "Hi, Lex Luthor", but then under it, says I never visited before.
I closed IE and reoped a few times and got the same thing.
Am I not accepting a necessary cookie or something? I have cookies blocked but have forums ...

Internet Usage Timer Needed
I have a friend who has a "Free" internet provider that limits them to 40 hrs/month before a fee kicks in.
Are there any programs that can keep a running total of the amount of time logged on each month? Anything make it automated enough so that it actually detects a successful dial up and hang up ...

Steve,
As I think you said you have Optimum Online, I'd suggest you use an RWIN of 64240. That's what most ppl on OOL are using as per engineers recommendataions.
Also, your best/most accurate OOL speed test is:
ftp://ftp1.optonline.net/pub/test64

You can try regcleaner here: http://www.jv16.org/
Backup your registry first though, but this program is one of the most well-known/used registry cleaners.

Wow,
That's really interesting. That happens to me quite often.
I've never been able to peg it down. I have a wireless mouse, so I try to change batteries and usually that makes no difference. I tried to use a mem manager to clear up memory, usually no difference. I try to clean the mouse, usually ...
