No Router

Hi Mcoffer, I have used the new version of Optimizer, and want to see any improvement I can do with the connection. Please advise.

yeah, u are right. ISP limits the speed...all u could do is to tweak your machine. That's what we can do.

yeah, after SP2, TCP/IP has been set to 10 connection attempts...on the other hands, by reading coffee suggestion, it indicates that the "Max Connections per Server" and "Max Connections per 1.0 Server" will be usually set to 10 and 20.....so just want to know are they related or what?

just found some information about Bootvis. People claim that could improve the boot time for windows. however, I checked out the offical site which said the tool is just for developer uses. Any idea?

I did manually change all value of "1492" to "1500" in register last time for tweaking. So do I have to change all value back to "1492"?

Just found some information to improve PC performance by tweaking CPU's L2 Cache, but not sure it whether it works

I found some information about improving the Cable performance under Windows XP Home Edition, but not sure it works or not. Do anyone know about the following?

if you had dsl ppoe b4 unistall all programs / protocols relating to it you need to get that mtu up

also goto start menu run type regedit then click edit find 1492 change them to 1500
