Re: Aero Admin Problems

Rustdesk does not require self-hosting, though it would be most efficient that way. They have a stand alone exe (no install) and an msi (installed). The stand alone lacks certain admin functions due to Windows security defaults.

Live Osprey Cameras

Been a while SG members!

This year we got the live osprey nest streams back up and running. The nests are out in the middle of the Patuxent River, a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. Presently nest 1 has 2 eggs and nest 2 has 1 egg. Nest 1 is powered by 2 400w solar panels, nest 2 has 40v ac in a ...

SS pans work great for eggs IF the butter is heated to the right temp. Too low and eggs will stick, too hot and they will stick. If butter or oil smokes it's too too hot.

My observations:
The primary use of computers (laptops & desktops), tablets and phones is entertainment. Just like TVs are for entertainment.
The secondary use is is motivated by other purposes, i.e. production of some type such as edu, work, etc.

Portability is a factor too. With a phone one can ...

Ever see someone vaping using a mask? Water vapot goes right through and also out the sides.

While covid is a real virus and a real threat, it has been hyped into something that it is not.

Yes, and easy peasy to make. All you need is a non-metal tub and a piece of metal electrode for the + side and a wire hang & submerge for - side. And about a quarter cup washing soda in water. 12v charger on low 2v setting.

I use a random orbit sander every few years on my table saw top which is kept in my garage. After sanding off the rust layer I coat it with any oil or wax from an unscented candle. The wax makes wood slide easy too.
