i went back to the original board so the computer would work the next question is this . do i have to reformat the hds or can i just unplug all and install new board and then plug all back in or do i have to reinstall xp and start from scratch again

have a jetway 693as motherboard, 4 pci slots, 1 agp, no onboard video or sound, also have p3 900 chip , motherboard is a socket 370 so there are no problems there. also have 512 ram my video is the xtasy 9200se 128 mb pci. bios setting done now after loading xp home and the computer reboots itself ...

thanks for all the ideas but still cannot get the onboard graphics to disable, the next route is to upgrade or change the motherboard and possibbly the processor, i don't want to spend a whole lot of money but any suggestions out there for this will help . a motherboard(better) than the M754 LMR to ...

+ Display Adapters

Click on the + next to display adapters

expl

- Display Adapters
- onboard adapter (intel or sis maybe)
- Ati 9200SE adapter


right-click on the onboard adapter and select the disable option ...

recently purchased an xtasy 9200 se 128mb (radeon) video card. i am running windows xp home ,p3 900 card states it is compatible with system. went into bios and cannot disable onboard video, motherboard is PCChips LMR 854 ( pretty sure) am i doing something wrong or is this motherboard the problem ...
