Megabit-I'm in the same exact boat as you. I'm in the Tamarac area, last few weeks the service as a whole as gone down the drain.

I think AT&T is to blame but don't forget the monthly service of $40.00 is discounted to $20 until april so lots of people who normally wouldn't use cable because of ...

Check out the BIOS tweak guide at http://www.rojakpot.com/Speed_Demonz/BIOS_Guide/BIOS_Guide_Index.htm . They recommend keeping System BIOS Cacheable disabled.
