I just went through this myself. Go to Command Prompt and type:
Convert C: /FS:NTFS. Enter Y when asked if you want to convert, than kick back and wait for it to run its course. It won't damage your current data, but it never hurts to back-up. :D :D

I almost forgot. When it ask you if you want to dismount the disk reply No. It will tell you that it can't access the drive exclusively and can complete convert on the next reboot reply yes. I found this link usefull myself. http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... US;q314878

To convert from FAT32 to NTFS you don't need any 3rd party software, just got to a command prompt (start - run) and type CONVERT C: /FS=NTFS (C= the drive which you wnat to convert), on the next reboot it will convert without any loss of data. :) :D
