i just got this and cannot figure out how to get back to XP from pc-dos mode without hitting the reset button.
whatever i try to type in it just says bad command or something like that
any sugestions would be appreciated

Are you using Fat 32 or NTFS?
Here's an article on how to use Ghost or Drive Image.
This is somewhat outdated as I've heard that the latest version of Ghost WILL work with NTFS. However, I have never tired it to verify that statement.

That's how you get back to your OS- reboot
