hey c-s,

I'm no expert, but everyones going to be asking these questions,

What motherboard do u have?
Does it have jumpers or is it jumperless (which means u can change the multipliers in the bios rather then on the motherbaord itself)
What heat sink do u have?? cooling is imperative when over clocking any component!!
Some time ram is important, if it's cheap ram it's going to slow you down.

But to answer your question without knowing what u have, overclocking is about changing the multipiers in your bois or on the motherboard.

The CPU speed is equal to the CPU frequency x (times) CPU bus frequency

i.e bus frequency is 100 x 10 cpu, so there for u get 1000mhz duron, if u changed the cpu to 10.5 u'd get 1050 but as stated above i don't know what motherbaord u have so u i don't know if u can, like mine change the bus frequency as well, rather then just your cpu.... anywho someone will probably tell me i'm wrong, as i said i'm not an expert have fun, and if it works, don't play with it, adois
