Hey all....anyone know how to get rid of the following error? I had IE 6 with all updates. It did this all the time. So, I took IE 6 off and went back to IE 5.5. However, this problem still persists. Anyone find a solution to this?
Here is a picture of the error I get. And I am using Win98SE for your information. Thank you!

Go to START > Settings > Control Panel and open Add/Remove Programs. Select Internet Explorer 5.5 and press Add/Remove. Then choose to repair the program. That may fix it.

would be nice if the error message gave some
kind of indication of "what the perceived problem'
might actually be........
hmmmm, some interesting thumbnails there......

Probably too late now, but for anyone else with same type problem.
IE 5.5 and IE 6 have known issues with Win98, and 98SE. MS has posted this, but not easy to find.
Remove IE5.5 and 6, then install IE 5.01 SP2, and you'll be happier than a pig in sh**.

This page seems to work for all versions. Removing IE 5.5 may not be easy, but it can be done, I've done it. I think I deleted all the IE files and folders, can't remember. Try the steps posted on the following page before you go for more drastic measures.

Once you get IE 5.01 SP2 installed, go to MS Update for updated critical files.

I cannot figure out how to get version 5.5 off of here. Any more ideas? I tried that website, but didn't find anything.
