Oh crap... not good

Well here is my problem... I was looking at stuff on my computer that I no longer use last night and I came across 2 programs. One was cablenut 4.0 and the other Zonealarm. I uninstalled both, restarted and now that computer will not do anything as far as the internet goes. I tried to ping a few pages (yahoo, speedguide) and it said unknown host for all of them. I have no idea what the hell could be wrong, so help me out here. My other computer on the router works perfectly so its not the cable service, its the computer.
Peace,
Anthony

Often times if Zonealarm is /does not uninstall correctly, this can happen. Easiest way to get going again is to reinstall Zonealarm.
Zonealarm installs some services and changes some settings. If these settings are not changed back, internet connectivity will be lost. Don't ask me what these settings are, for I don't remember anymore. Maybe someone else can help ??????

You may wish to check zonealarm's website for additional info. It's been quite a while since I had a similar problem and fixed it that I don't remember what I did. I would suggest going to http://www.zonelabs.com and check for info there.

If you are using Windows 2000, go here:
