Over tweaked?

I've been tweaking with Tweak UI and now I'm having some 'issues'. I also just put in a stick of 256 Kingston RAM.

First thing I noticed is that my icons to my games when clicked kind of searched for something to do, then did nothing. Since then I've used Tweak UI to 'repair file associations' and that worked for the most part. Still not 100%.

Also, my LAN settings in IE 6.0 were changed to look for a certain setting. I typically like all the boxes in there unchecked. I uncheck it, but at reboot it's back. I guess I'd have to go into the registry for that one, huh?

I know the questions are vague, but I'm a newbie playing with stuff I should leave alone. Got such good results tweaking my broadband settings...I just couldn't stop.

I'm on the verge of doing a reformat and getting back to basics.
