I have just purchased a D-Link DI-704 Router for home. I want to share net access with 3 machines (2xWin98, 1Win2K).
Plugged in all stations to router ---> All light OK, indicating no problem.
Plugged Nortel 1MB modem into WAN port in the back of the router ---> WAN port LED lit up, indicating no problem.
However, the 6th light on the modem (counting from the left), does not light up. It does light up whenever I connect it to any of the Machines, but not when connected to the router. I setup the router config software to DHCP, and PPPoE service, with my user name and password. I click "Connect", but nothing happens. It just returns to normal, without getting an IP number from Bell.
Any suggestions out there?
