Uncapping is not allowed and is not possible from your end. Read the editorial on uncapping.

We turned in the modem to Road Runner today . I have been trying out DSL up here and it is capped at 3 mbps as opposed to 2 mbps on RR.I am very happy with the speed on DSL (Frontier Lightning Link). Time Warner acted like they could care less that I cancelled service with them. Not that they should care, but I have been on RR since 7/98. Up until last August, the speed was awesome up here. Then the cap went in place.

I did not think that Frontier had anything going on down there in Ga. There is a full bore battle going on up here now between RR and DSL. They are each offering half price service for several months and free installs.

it just became available like a month ago. i was on a waiting list for 7 months to get it. i'm kinda disappointed with it though. well, i guess i shouldn't say that, the only other options here are dial-up or sattelite. i have had both.
dial-up . . . . . . . . . . 3.5 kb/s
sattelite . . . . . . . . . 60 kb/s
dsl . . . . . . . . . . . . . 130 kb/s
i'm alot better off but when i see some of the speeds these guys in here have - makes it seem slow - lol.
