Netmeeting / Linksys BFSR41

Post by mikeoakley »

Alright, I'm about to kick this Linksys out the window. I'm trying to run Netmeeting (latest version) across a Linksys BFSR41. I can connect OUT (with no sound / video) but nobody can get IN. I've got the system set in the DMZ, but that seems to have NO effect. I've upgraded the firmware at least twice, once was yesterday. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks!

I have used Netmeeting in both directions without any problems.
Just make sure you have the latest firmware, and I used the forwarding feature and entered the ports used for netmeeting and all went well in being the receiver of a call.

Joel, what should be the port used by Netmeeting? If u happened to know also, which port should I open in order to use ICQ's chat feature?

Netmeeting uses the following ports, according to Microsoft:
389,522,1503,1720,1731, and 2 dynamically assigned UDP ports. For more info, do a search on microsoft's website for Netmeeting with the string "Ports used" I still can't get mine to accept incoming, though.
