HL2 Lost Coast ---- GET IT!!!

Post by RoscoPColtrane »

Get it now! Log into steam and download it. Its prety wild. Its like a stand alone map and has the newer technology that the engine is capible of. I thought hl2 looked awesome but the difference in the lighting is CRAZY! very nice looking. They did somethings with the terrain as far as climbing cliffs and whatnot too. Pretty kewl.

ITS FREE TOO!! :thumb:

It was a tech demo, not really a game... kinda like doom 3.

Wierd, I have HL2 on very high settings, and it runs great (GF 6800, P4 3.2ghz, 1Gb RAM). And Lost Coat runs like total crap.

You guys were seriously not impressed with the new lighting features? Granted i might not have noticed if not for the commentary (USE IT!!!!) but once they pointed it all out i was like WOW, and couldn't take my eyes of it! :D

Glad its free. It is a resource hog thats why it won't run as well as HL2. :thumb:

Hopefully the full expansion pack will have this features!
