How about this for a primary monitor?

is this a wise choice for a primary monitor or would it look like crap for a desktop?

anyone have any ideas or has anoyone seen this used as a primary before?

right now im using a syncmaster 1100df ( http://www.provantage.com/buy-7sams155- ... opping.htm ) for my primary (LOVE IT!) im just thinking itll look like my 21in but 10 inches bigger!!!!!!!!!

is my logic flawed here?

I dunno, I'd be hesitant. native res. is low, dunno how high it can go.

it looks like a HDTV....i didn't read anywhere about supporting computer resolutions, or having a DVI input or anything.

It doesn't have DVI, so you can't use it as a computer monitor. esides, even if it did, you'd be limited to its max resolution, probably 1280 x 960, and it would look pretty bad when displaying the Windows GUI, etc.

glad to find out now before dropping $750 on it and being disappointed.

would prolly still rock for a HT tv.
