Interesting thread on the XT

Kind of makes me have second thoughts. Perhaps a water cooled 9800 Pro might be a better choice. I have a month to decide before my refund is processed. I guess that's a good thing in some regards.

doesnt the delay of HL2 deflate the value of the 9600xt?

Hopefully no one is buying the 9800xt merely for HL2, but it certainly tones down the benefit of buying a 9600xt.

Yeah, kinda why I built this system over the summer...in prep for this game.

I hear that..oh well..had a real old 3 year system so felt worth it anyway
