Hi philip.... its an old patch but as i can see, u have not include it in the tcp optimizer but it works fine. it goes with nonbesteffortlimit and is about for the limit of outstanding packets.

Another thing. Just below "networkthrottlingindex" value, is the "SystemResponsiveness" value which indicates the amount of cpu load that is being used for multimedia against network. Let's say that a value of 50 helps alot for game playing. test it and ...

Something i have noticed....

I use to use MTU more than 1500 (actually 1514) and if i want to optimize a gigabit lan, i cant do that with optimizer, cause u have set a limit to 1500. Plz fix it Philip.

P.S. Rolling? i think this is impossible

It is an old tweak (from win98) and has good results, if the amount of memory is more than enough. if the value=0 the amount of memory that windows uses to cache in the HD is only up to 8MB and if it is 1, the windows uses up to 80MB (if i remember well), but u may experience crashes sometimes ...

first try mtu in your network card= 2000 or 5000 or 9000, but first be sure that you have activate in your properties of your net card "jumpo frames". u have to be in a giga lan between pc and modem to achieve those speeds. secondly be sure that your are not limited by your isp. fiber is not ready ...

I was looking broadband tweaks and i thought for some things.
a) synattack is not working anymore to vista/7/2008, this is for sure.
b) dns and hosts caching im not sure that those values are also working to vista/7/2008. check it out

As far now, i didt have a lot of time to test some more values and as u know there are a lot of them in linux sessions. The goal is that u can tweak your modem directly.

i am happy with these values now. My rwin at far away servers (200ms +) is about 600000B.Also i i have firmed my combo modem ...

edit:i was wrong. it can't read my hamachi vpn adapter, where from you "sniff" the adapters"? u have to, from currentcontrolset/class..... i think is the right path

i found a nice way to do that.
ssh console to your modem and i just shot the well known linux commands. u will find them in the linux tweaking section .

echo 1022208 > /proc/sys/net/core/rmem_default

if u set mtu to 1492? Do some tests setting rwin double than yours. Also take off your wires from elecrical signals and make a full scan with malwarebytes, cause your tracert is not looking so fine as it might be. Also leave your equipment powered off, for about 5-10 minutes and unplug the ...

Connection: Fiber over PPPoE (FTTB I think its called), no router/modem

ISP: RDS Romania, advertised speed is up to 50 Mb/s

according to this article here, if u disable the network throttling (set the value to ffffffff HEX), u wouldnt have spike lag anymore, try it and pls post your result

all pages, but those settings has to do with your package and of course memory of your machine. u cannot set 100 requests in 1mbit package. u will propably have drops
