wow tcpackfrequency not working

Post by bigpaul560 »

hello, a few months ago i did a system reformat, at that time i had the tcpackfrequency=1 change working fine, iv done it manually many times on my and friends computers, but ever since then, it just wont work on mine, i have vista 32 bit service pack 2, i used to play with 40 ms all time, now im at 160 at best, any thoughts on what could cause the fix not to work?

heres the problem, when i set the registry vaule of tcpackfrequency to 1, it acts as if it was never changed, default=2. so its possible i need to update something for it to work, but iv tried this many times, hopfully someone will have had this issue before and found a fix for it, but i so far have not
