hardware type: Cable Gateway
date added: 2010-10-28

The TWG850-4 is a wireless VoIP cable gateway, providing WAN throughput of up to 55Mbps. Using Propane technology, it enables the connection of more Internet users without additional network bandwidth

The integrated access point complies with IEEE 802.11b/g standards, providing wireless transmission speeds of up to 54Mbps. It is WDS compatible and uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network. A WPS button allows for easy wireless security configuration.

This router provides a variety of VoIP features, such as Caller ID, Echo Cancellation and 3-way conferencing.

The TWG850-4 provides VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP. A built-in SPI firewall protects the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.

The router is intended for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) market.
