SMC7904WBRA4 is a residential Internet access device which combines the function of Annex A ADSL modem, 802.11g 54Mbps wireless access point and 4-port 10/100 switch. It is fully compliant with latest ADSL2/2+ standards and TR-067 compliant, ensuring interoperability with your ISP's network infrastructure.

The SMC7904WBRA4 provides Internet access, with downstream up to 24Mbps and upstream up to 2Mbps, making it ideal for residential users, home offices, and small businesses. With the SMC7904WBRA4, computers on the LAN side can communicate and share the Internet access and files via a wired or wireless network connection. The NAT firewall with StatefulPacket Inspection (SPI), Intrusion Detection System (IDS) & Denial-of-Service (DoS) provides robust security from hackers. VPN pass-through is also provided for securely connecting to your office or corporate network.

The SMC7904WBRA4 includes a build in QoS engine, which allow network administrators to allocate network resources and to prioritize real-time applications like voice & video, to enable smooth Internet phone (VoIP) and lag-free online gaming. WMM (WiFiMultimedia) delivers QoSto the wireless network, while IP QoS prioritizes outbound internet traffic.
