The Vigor 2800VG is an ADSL1/2/2+ wireless router with one RJ-11 WAN port, four 10/100Mbps LAN ports and a single USB port. It supports NAT routing, DMZ and UPnP.

The integrated access point complies with the IEEE 802.11b/g standards. Using "G+" technology, it provides wireless transmission speeds of up to 108Mbps. It is WDS compatible and uses WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption.

This router supports a variety of VoIP features, such as call waiting, Voice Activity Detection (VAD) and Echo Cancellation. It provides VPN pass-through for IPSec, L2TP and PPTP. A built-in SPI firewall protects the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.

What Operating Systems is it compatible with ?

you use a an http connection to 192.168.1.1 (default) which serves a web page to enable you to manage it. Therefore, you need a network and web capable operating system.
