D-Link DIR-510L

details: Wi-Fi AC750 Portable Router and Charger
hardware type: Travel Router
date added: 2013-11-18
updated: 2015-11-03
By using dual bands to bypass radio congestion and interference, the router can deliver a total of 750Mbps using the combined bandwidth of its 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

Moreover, each band can operate as a separate Wi-Fi network, giving you the ability to customize your network according to your connectivity needs. You can even configure a guest zone to give visitors Internet access without giving them access to the rest of your network.

Combined with support for Universal Plug and Play (uPnP) and a built-in DLNA server, you can stream your multimedia collection smoothly and securely across all your devices and appliances.

The built-in 4000 mAh rechargeable battery keeps your mobile devices charged and ready to go no matter where you are.

this review is incorrect, or else it needs to provide MUCH more information, as there is no port forwarding available on the DIR-510L that i have been able to find. the crippling of the admin interface in this way was never spelled out in any of D-Link's information about the device. i would never have bought it had i known. so however nice the rest of it is, it's basically a $100 brick.

You should come to the D-Link forums to see if there is any help and information regarding this router. This is a mobile travel router so there maybe some features of this router that it may not have vs a full on home based router. It's up to the buyers of this router to research and determine what router is best suited for there needs. Ask or contact D-Link support and read the User manuals to see what is available on routers. There are many routers models available to users to fit certain needs. It's why D-Link has many models to choose from. It's up to you, not D-Link.
